Industrial Training at PSEGS

Information

                   It is for the information of all the B.Tech students (ECE-7^th Sem.) that the Punjab State E-Governance Society in the Department of Information Technology, Punjab imparts Industrial/vocational training for BE/B.Tech (ECE)CS/IT and other technology students.

                   The selection of the students will be done by a committee of technocrats based on academic performance and interview to be held on 7^th-9^th Dec. 2011 as per the following criterion:

                   The total marks will be 100. The marks with respect to criteria 1,2 and 3 above will be calculated on proportionate basis of the marks obtained by the student and in case of grade system the average marks of the range of corresponding to the particular grade will be taken for the calculation purpose.

                   PSEGS will pay the trainees a stipend of Rs. 4000/- per month.

                   The batch of Industrial Training is to commence from Jan. 2012 to June 2012. All the eligible students are informed that they may apply to PSEGS latest by 21^st Nov. 2011 by sending their CV’s as per format to traininingdit@punjab.gov.in with the subject “Application for Industrial Training – Jan. 2012 to June 2012” in a word format. Paper application shall not be accepted.

                   Only those students who have applied by the last date i.e. 21.11.2011 and are eligible would be considered for interview. Interview schedule will be put up on the Departmental website www.doitpunjab.gov.in, no separate intimation will be sent for the same.
